The Big, Red Carpet

Well, the Blog is up. Very soon, I shall have a section for you to post in your requests, and a section to download the Music that I have provided. The files will be in a .Torrent format which can be opened in a P2P client such as Azureus or Bittorrent.

To Download music, you just have to download the corresponding torrent file, and afterwards, open it on your P2P client. The speed of the download will depend on the number of users sharing that torrent: the more users share the torrent, the faster the speed.

One word of advice though: The purpose of file-sharing is to SHARE. If you download Music, but don't share it, you've defeated the purpose. So please, when your download is done, don't remove the torrent- share it till your share ratio atleast reaches 1.25. That is, you've shared 25% more than you've downloaded.

For those, who are new to P2P file sharing, here's some basic terminology:

Torrent: A file which simply tells the P2P client the location of the Source File to be downloaded.

Seed(er)s: People who have the entire file, and are sharing it with others

Peers: People who are downloading the File

Leechers: People who download a file but don't share it.

P2P Client: An application which allows people connected to the internet to share files.

That's about all for now. Check the links to find relevant sites for Clients and Hosts.
